OMG this train is slooooooow
I got an update on my car. It's on a train right now but it won't get the the port hub for 17 days. Then it has to go from the port to the dealer.. BMW is talking first week of March.
Took far less time to build it then ship it. |

I guess it’s due to us being on the west coast unfortunately.
Mine left the factory on 2/7 and is scheduled to arrive in San Bernardino on 2/22. The wait is def the toughest part |

In the “old days”. (pre 9/11) we could watch the rail cars come across the country. It would scan as it passed all these little railroad sidings - it was a blast. Until, it got within 2 hours of our house where it sat for 7 days waiting for a different train to bring it close. Because I knew where it was, I was also able to go down to the rail yard and watch it being unloaded from the train car. Then I got to argue with my salesman that my car was in town. Ahhhh Those we’re the days. |
