Hello friends, I recently purchased BMW X5 and I connected Alexa Echo Dot 4th Gen with it. But the problem is I cant stop it from listening. Has anyone else come across this problem before? Please help me friends to solve the issue.

what exactly do you mean "can't stop Alexa from listening"? Alexa is always listening in order to respond to your wake up word at any time

to clarify, you linked the MyBMW skill in the Amazon Alexa app for use with in-home Echo devices? i used to use this feature but found it buggy when MyBMW replaced ConnectedDrive last year and haven't used it since. (i deleted the skill altogether)

there is also Alexa in-car integration which is a different setup through the MyBMW app which I use from time to time to disarm my home security system as we approach home, listen to Amazon music on long drives, etc

Thank you for your help. But I have resolved the issue with the help of this article. After following the entire article properly, the problem got solved. Now I have no longer any issues.
