, having used bluetooth before this is soo much faster.

I did have to unplug and plug the lighting cable a few times for it to connect but after it connected was flawless.

M dash, M startup and sport individual start up took less than 5 min once connected
You coded the "M" startup...does this impact the "BMW" shut-down graphic? I never even see a start-up...screen opens to the "Hello Me" screen.

Interesting. Does the same adapter work for Ethernet connectivity with the same phone otherwise? Did you have the OBDII Ethernet cable plugged in and into the car on the other side at the time you got that error? Are there any settings you can play with, like DHCP vs manual IP settings for that Ethernet adapter?

Android is very fragmented, so lots of stuff works and lots of stuff doesn't work, hard to predict.

Can anyone confirm whether there's limited module support via ENET cable? Bimmercode lists quite a few more available settings as possible than I'm seeing in the app. Connection chain is ENET into ethernet to lightning adapter to iPhone iOS 14, Bimmer app is up-to-date. (All works fine on my ID6 G01 fwiw...)

Hoping to turn off some warnings, adjust reversing-mirror tilt and see whether rain-sensing sensitivity can get bumped up but most modules are grayed out. TIA.

I used the MHD black adapter and it worked flawlessly. And quicker than the Veepeak BT unit I used previously on my car, but that may be due to faster processing on G series electronics. Bonus with this adapter is that I am also using it tune my 435 as well as code the wife's X5.

Generally the physical cable is the most reliable, I have used your exact setup (iphone, lightning to Enet cable) to code the tailgate as the tailgate doesn't work with a lot of wireless adapters. I used Android typically now and can code all modules with Enet cable and enet to USB adapter no issues. What version software are you on, some modules are not available in bimmercode I think if your are on latest software.
