Yeah. I don’t mind paying fair market value but geez. In six months to a year these will be leasing and selling for significantly less. That 1900 will be closer to 14-1500. Especially since the M50 is going to take some customers away from the M

Porsches have always been terrible leases especially on upper trims.
0.00290 MF and 44% residual for a 36/12 lease on a Turbo according to folks on the Edmunds forum. If you want a Cayenne Turbo, you have to finance it. |

Obviously the coming months will bring more allocations as supply chains and production ramp up on the new model, but today the supply/demand dynamic will yield few discounts off MSRP. Unfortunately, I have no patience so I will miss the better deals in 6 months. |

I can understand why they are doing it given how extensive the options list is, since you can double the base price of some cars if you go wild on the configurator. Porsche Financial doesn't want to be saddled with options that are worthless to the next buyer when the car is returned. |

Got them to increase discount to a little over $5000. Dealer will receive their first allocations during the 1st week of March. Delivery anticipated for end of May.

Glad that my F95 replacement for my current 2018 F85 won't be until earlier 2021. As previously mentioned after the 1st wave of early movers, lease prices will drop. I'm locked in at 1k under invoice exclusive of incentives for the F95 when I order later this year at buy rate MF, but it helps ordering 2 M's at once every 3 years as my F83 replacement comes first.

Invoice on this car is about 6.5% less than retail. I'm curious how you were able to get it for 1k below invoice. For the regular X6 models, they're talking about discounts in the 10 - 12% range, before the incentives. Does anyone have an insights on how dealers are letting them go for less than invoice?

Posted this in the sticky thread about lease rates as well:
New member here, appreciate the collective wisdom and knowledge in this forum! Coming from MB and Audi, thinking about getting a BMW next. Prefer a compliant ride but also want to experience a performance vehicle, so planning on leasing a X5MC. Here are a couple of lease quotes I got from nearby dealers in Houston, Texas. 15k miles per yr/ 36 months. Quote 1 Selling price- $123795.00 ( No discount) Residual - 53% MF- .00158 ( 3.792% APR) Initial payment: $2500 ( First month payment and fees) Monthly payment- $2192.61 Quote 2 Selling price- $119800 ( 3.2% discount) Residual - 53% MF- .00118 ( 2.832%APR) Acquisition fee- $925 TTL and Doc fees- $335.00 Monthly payment-$2176.00 Initial payment- $2176.00 My credit score is 830+. I ran the numbers for the second quote thru multiple online calculators and monthly payments are supposed to be about $1830-1861, what am I missing? I did not look further into the first quote due to no discounts and jacked up MF. Both are for 2021 custom order for a X5MC with Driving assistance, Executive pkg and B&W. Thank you and Looking forward to your opinions. |

They are doing around 10-12% discounts on the regular X5s, no reason X5M should be any less. There is currently 72 of them NEW for sale on Autotrader, these dealers been sitting on these cars for a few months because of the pandemic, if you are not getting anywhere with your dealers on a new order, start looking at these to see if you find a match in terms of build for what you want, low ball them at $100K and try to land close to $105K (on the 120+ MSPRs) instead and find out what the current lease MF is from BMW, all dealers try to jack that rate up. Personally I'm not going to get the competition package, I'm going to order a basic X5M with almost no options, I feel like it has every option almost I had to add to my current one, that puts my already at low 100s, then with similar discounts I should be able to land it for around $1400/month lease (technically the lease should only increase by $100 for every 10K in price), I can't see myself paying any more than that. When you get to the 2K range on a lease, you may as well get an exotic, just my .02. Last edited by ///Armin; 06-09-2020 at 11:24 AM.. |

why waste $18k down payment on a lease? you plan on keeping the lease and purchase on the back end?
