They sell them on US eBay too. They don't look like they install the same as the oem scuff plates. Look like you pull off the oem and tape these over the same spot.

Do you not take off the OEM scuff plates to install the OEM illuminated plates? The main difference I see is these are hardwired.

You take off the OEM scuff plates to install the illuminated plates. The kit even supplies a wooded tool to remove the OEM scuff plates. There is no hard wiring to do, they are battery operated which is nice. I plan on purchasing a set of illuminated plates from the dealer. He quoted me a price of $182.75 and $127.50 if I was interested in the puddle lights. Can't make my mind up on the puddle lights.
