I'm not seeing how to do the 30 days free on the connected drive website- if that's true, definitely the best way to see if it's worth it to me. I sent a message to the connected drive email to see if there is a free trial available.

In my case, this purchase was for a new 2024 X5 40i. When I went into the Connected Drive app on my phone, the 30-day free trial purchase was listed as an option, along with the option for purchasing it for one year ($200) or lifetime ($500, I recall). Perhaps the 30-day free trial is tied to it being a 2024 X5?

$580.00 for 3 years $950 One-time purchase (lifetime, presumably). Based on my ownership track record and other factors (CEL issues, anyone?), I doubt I will own this 2024 X5 longer than 4 years (3 years is much closer to my average length of BMW ownership), so I'm purchasing 3 years now and will add another year at that point if I'm still in this vehicle. |

I'm understanding this as something people can get if they didn't order the full blown M Sport line, right? They can separately have the M Sport suspension tuning/coding applied?
If you have the package, you already paid for it? |

That is correct. It is for those that don't have air suspension and have the xLine/Sport suspension.

Hope someone can clarify this for me. I just added the trial for the Adaptive M Suspension.
Does that impact Comfort mode at all, or does it only change the suspension when the dampers are set to Sport? I drove the car after adding it and was tryng to determine if comfort mode is impacted at all. Thanks |

The adaptive m suspension is Floaty to me I can’t imagine the air ride on this car that would be like riding in a boat I’m at the point of trying hr sport springs to stiff it up a bit and lower it a inch
