I finally figured out a workaround to get waze in the HUD. If you put in a destination in Bmw maps and click go. Then, you put in a destination into waze, it will automatically cancel out the bmw maps destination and stay on waze. But now waze shows up in the HUD.
I'm not sure why this works, or why it doesn't just do this automatically, but I'm glad that I finally have a way to use waze with the HUD!
