My journey began in September, anticipating the end of my 2019 lease in October. With excitement, I stepped into the dealership and spec’d out a Brooklyn Gray with coffee interior, premium enhanced package, 22” wheels, the essential air suspension, and a few other options. In November the vehicle arrived but without the air suspension, a deal-breaker for me given my family's needs. Undeterred, I reordered in late December, ensuring the inclusion of air suspension. Four weeks later, the car arrived, only to be met with a sudden markup due to a change in dealership personnel. After fruitless negotiations, I reluctantly walked away from the deal.

Despite my initial intention to buy out my lease, nearing 100,000 km made me reconsider, leading me to explore trade-in options. I reached out to several dealerships, specifying my must-haves of air suspension and 22” wheels. While options were limited, a mineral white X5 with a coffee interior and the must-haves was available. Despite my hesitation about the color as my 2019 was Mineral White as well, the dealership offered a significant discount and an irresistible interest rate and we were able to get the deal done.

She has finally come home today!!

Although my first impressions were limited to the drive home from the dealership, I immediately noticed the enhanced comfort of the seats and the refined driving experience when compared to my 2019. More pictures will follow, but here's a glimpse of the "big reveal" at the dealership!

Thats the exact outside spec we're looking at now. It's so good looking. Man with the air suspension lowered in that pic it's stealthy. Congrats!!

Congrats! Mine is mineral white on cognac. We also have an alpine white 40i and Mineral has an added depth to the color and finish that I’ve come to appreciate.

I'm going in next week to place our order. Mineral white, 22 in black wheels. No air suspension for us. Ivory merino. Just love the mineral with 22s.
