Where are you all getting rubber from? I can't find any in 295/22 and 315/22

What tire sizes are you running? I am assuming its 285/30/22 and 315/30/22 which is slightly off compared to the stock sizes. Since the tire is slightly lower profile up front its making it look like theres a bigger gap.
Any issues with the car having those tire sizes? Alan

BC Forged: 22" x 10.5" fronts, 22" x 11.5" rears. 295/30 22" & 315/30 22" (stock) tires, respectively. After owning 3-pc HRE's, these are arguably the best bang for the buck.
S/O to Alan l for his help & for truly being the nicest & most selfless member on our boards

I'm not normally a fan of white cars, as i tend to associate them with wedding cars
BUT ... this is an exception, that is a lovely, lovely looking car ... the wheels look perfect, interesting design, show off the drilled discs & lacquered calipers nicely, and the offset looks beefy are you running spacers with these? if not, what are the ETs please?

Hope you're sitting down: I was running 25 mm spacers (front & back) with my stock wheels. To accommodate the removal of these spacers, we did ET6 fronts & ET18 rears. Stock front & rear widths by the way. Hope these were helpful, and let me know if I need to share more information

so, i pressed the button on new wheels this week ...
HRE P101SC https://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series-p1sc/p101sc ... in Brushed Clear finish. This Ferrari made my mind up for me: https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/blo...gs-hre-wheels/ Thanks to m-prsev for the tips and photos on wheel choice, and to Alan and others for posting up photos and specs of their wheels to me the Brushed Clear finish looks classy and a nice contrast to the Marina Bay Blue paint, which is very bright (especially when just-washed, and in sunlight), and i fancies a change from black / gloss black / charcoal colour wheels. the wheels are on order and will be ceramic coated before instal, to cut down on the cleaning as far as possible, although i do feel that i;ve made a rod for my back cleaning-wise! 295/30/22F 10.5 315/30/22R 11.5 new tyres on order too, as the current set have done 8,500 miles, so due a new set soon (assuming 10,000 miles is about right - it probably is given my "spirited driving" since september 2020!!) the shop are going to send me a render pic of the wheels on my car, so will post these next week ... 6-7 week lead time. next mods are the install of the Sterckenn front lip: https://autoid.co/products/sterckenn...w-x5m-2020-f95 exciting times!!

Update ...
The shop have sent me some renders that (1) show the wheels on an MBB X5MC, and (2) show Brushed Clear vs Brushed Dark Clear which would you choose? i'm happy with my Brushed Clear choice based on these shots

You know what my vote would be..... BC would naturally look like BDC after driving it for two days
The downside of BC is maintenance. I have 7 coats of ceramic on my HRE's and cleaning them are a pain because every spec shows on the spokes and the barrels. After i clean the wheels i need to blow dry them 100% because any rust water left behind flings all over the inner barrels. Alan

seriously though, these X5M brakes spit out a lot of dust, don't they? gloss black vs Brushed Clear for an "obsessed" X5M driver isn't easy ... i like to clean the wheels though (not the whole car, as it's so big!) & i've got all the cleaning kit now but, i accept that along with the enjoyment of having clean brushed silver wheels comes the moral responsibility of keeping to a cleaning routine

"I have 7 coats of ceramic on my HRE's" alan, is that because 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 coats wasn't enough?! seriously, is there a particular ceramic you would recommend - my shop has recommended GTECH, which has been good for me previously. and is there a preference with these kind of VERY expensive wheels to have the ceramic done all in 1 go at purchase (7 times if need be!), or over a period of time after purchase?

I personally use cquartz UK since its readily available and it simply works.
I only did so many coats because HRE delivered the wheels to me in the middle of winter here (December) so I had them sitting in my house for 4 months collecting dust. Figure lets not waste this time and throw on a few layers of protection since I have a long time to wait until I could finally mount them Alan |

brushed clear without a doubt.. I love the contrast of bright wheels on MBB for that maximum pop effect
