I've decided to order the parts from the dealer and install them myself. This way I have their own invoice for the original parts to preserve the warranty.

The real question is why BMW delivers only some G05's without the dampers in the first place?
Based on the feedback of the members of this forum the presence or absence of these parts seem random and not based on wheel size.

Not to make a mountain out of a mole or whatever the saying is, but a part purchased from the parts # doesn't mean #### in the eyes of the service dept.

You're over thinking this. I'll call this a decoupler. Akin to what one uses underneath subwoofers, laundry washers on the second floor house, etc.

I was looking at this thread, because I wondered if it was tied to another person's problem...So, I checked mine. 2020, G06, M50i with 21", 741M wheels from the factory. I have them installed from the factory.

Just in case any G05 owner finds this thread in the future, I installed the dampers myself and it did indeed reduce the interior noise by a solid 10-15%. My rims are 21'

Cheers

What wheel style is your 21"? 744 or 741M (with M-Sport Package)? Thanks.

The problem is that my AD is refusing to install these parts since my car did not have them from the factory. I offered to pay for the installation and they still refused, and said it will void my warranty!
Any tips to convince them to install those parts? Any TSB or notices that I can use?
BMW's own literature states that the dampers are installed on all tyres from 19" with RFT upwards, and that they should be retrofitted on cars where the wheels are upgraded to prevent issues - doesn't sound like something that would void warranty to me...

Just to follow up, I installed the dampeners on my 2023 X5 45e with 22 inch BMW style 747M wheels. I only installed them on the front axle and I feel that it has helped with reducing low frequency noise and a bit of vibration. When I initially put the 22s on, vibrations made it feel like the tires were not well-balanced, which may be the case as I still feel some from the rears. The 20s that came with the car has very little vibrations.

They can only be installed on the front axle. There aren't any for the rear axle.
