Audi is going all electric before the end of the decade so we're expecting a gradual collapse of their ICEs

I really like it. I’m glad there is no shifter, the glass control just shines in my eye but I want the executive package. I like all the body updates and iDrive8. The M60i looks like a nice upgrade.
That sucks about the massive price increase though. What’s the configuratur link? |

That's good. Tacky

The only things that would be compelling for me would be the additional battery/range and the charging rate. Otherwise... not enough to make up for the things I dislike. |

They show the LCI on bmwusa.com "The performance oriented X5 M60i also gets new quad exhaust finishers and exclusive Marina Bay Blue Metallic paint." That was the 1st color I wanted but I was not gunna pay 7500 premium to go individual. They will prob offer it as stock individual without the 7500 tax. Prob 3k like the TB I would like to see if there is a performance increase with the M60. Is it the same motor with 48v or did it actually get the X5M "S" motor detuned. If thats the case, I would def trade up. I dont like the ID8. I like the cockpit feeling of the ID7. Having the awning over the cluster. It gives the more sportish feeling. Also whos gunna try the grille retrofit first? Is it same size or did they change the dimensions? No more gear shifter?! Its a button! Upgraded auto driving. So on hways up to 85mph, no hands on the wheel. We get 40mph now.

The only thing that would have me consider LCI over Non are the new HP and Torque specs across the model range. Other then that I think it’s a much less agressive design and looses the tank heavy suv look with slimmer headlights. The interior would have to take some getting used to. Seems like it could lack that comfy homey safe interior suv feel for something more delicate. I wonder would adding a piggyback tuner like Dinan, Jb4, Racechip to the current 335hp to match close to the new 375hp and torque specs - could it feel just as good as factory spec, worse or better ?

Thank you for sharing the info! But seriously tho on the MSRPs, next thing you know is that a baseline model will start at $100K. BMW need to think hard about which target market they want to focus on for entry level vs. M models.
