Rear door lock failure

Anyone else experienced a door lock failure? Rear passenger door will not lock. All other doors lock with the key.

Any suggested troubleshooting before heading to the dealership?

make sure rear door child safety lock isn’t partially engaged/disengaged

if that’s not the issue, take a closer look at the latch. one lady posted a photo of hers in the FB group; it was broken

i tried engaging and disengaging it. But will try again!

Just wanted to update this. Took to the dealer. Lock latch did indeed fail and was replaced under warranty.
