How much power delivery from USB ports?

For the LCI X5 50e, does anyone know how much power the USB-A port near the wireless charger delivers? How about the USB-C port in the center console?

The wireless charger only works intermittently for my iPhone 15 Pro Max, so I'd like to plug it in somewhere for more reliable recharging.

5V 1.5A for USB-A

This is also the max power allowed on USB-A by standard

USB-C charges much faster as it could allow 12v

Thanks…. Too bad the USB-C port is tucked into the center console.

That's actually where I put my phone for longer drives! I don't use the tray due to the heat. I put other random stuff in the tray...

Apparently, you get better phone reception by putting it in the front tray though.

BMW includes an LTE compensator as part of the wireless charging pad that connects the phone to the outside antenna, so, depending on where you're driving, it can make a big difference in your cellular connection.

You should have no problem having the cable out from the front of center console when closed.

My experience as well with a thin cable. Right out the middle between the two halves. If you have it come out the side, you will have a hard time opening the arm rest on that side with just the release button. Out the middle poses no such problems.

For my 15 Pro Max though I am using a longer USB-C cable from the port near the floor at the back seats. That way I don’t lose the lightning cable for anyone with a non-15 sitting in the passenger seat and the kids use the ports on the back of the front seats for their phones.

It seems like you need to register to use the signal booster?
