Let's hope it is out of QC when I wake up in the morning !

Seeing that you are in NY, delivery should be pretty quick.

After five days in QC, mine is now "awaiting carrier assignment" Yay!

Same here roadkill! we are QC kindred spirits. 3rd day in QC. I mean the more testing the better right? (I'm in software) .. but I'm guessing our cars are over in the corner of the QC shop with empty coffee cups and random paperwork sitting on the hood waiting for someone to get to them..

Well hopefully they at least smooth out all the wrinkly leather and make sure the software is up to date!

I think LumpyDog still has the record at 5 days though!

Haha - I was 6.5 days in QC. BMV is over 10 days at this point.

I'm now stuck in Awaiting Carrier Assignment - almost 3 days. Genius told me my X5 is scheduled to arrive at BMW Peabody Saturday

I'd guess it would need to be on the road today for that to happen. Buuuut - looks like no delivery this weekend. Tough schedule for me next week, so I will need to look to the following weekend to finally pick it up (fingers crossed).

Genius said my car will be delivered on 12/17. Im OOT most of that week, so should be able to pick it on 12/21! This is good, as it will allow them time to detail it and put the snow tires on.

BMW garage still says dispatched from factory. Live in Detroit metro area. CA gave me more accurate date than BMW Genius

Mine finally moved from QC tonight. I think it there for 3 or 4 days. I hope there wasnt a serious issue that could cause future problems. Anyone heard why some get hung up in QC?

I am suspicious as there was a stop delivery a few days ago that requires a software update - something about the camera safety system, so wondering if it is holding up QC as they update software before shipping.

4 days and counting... wife laughs at me every morning 'cause the first thing I do after waking up is reach for the phone and check MyGarage and then sigh and say "this is bullsh*t".

Good guess and probably something like that.

I'm still parked in "awaiting carrier assignment" day 4. Genius said "there was "an open work order" which could mean there was a necessary software update, the vehicle needed some repair or something like that..."

In 4 days, it will have been a month since I "entered production".

P.S. Genius said that the scheduled ship date 12/12 came and went so I'm "Delayed" and he has no way of telling me when it will arrive at the dealership (they initially communicated tomorrow). What a cluster-fuck this whole process has been.

Mine was in QC for 5 days, so hopefully everything was updated.
Drawback of being an early adopter, I guess.
