be more careful when you sell

Hi everyone
I just want to tell you a little bit about my bad experience on reenlist, I sold this guy "Chandra Sarkar" a set of cayenne wheels, that person also sells BMW wheels on ebay and forums, I google the guy and he had problems before, bimmerpost they blocked him, I'm going to make a copy paste.

I just want to tell you guys to be careful with this user CHALKGT2RS Chandra Sarkar I sold him my wheels on 8/31/2022, I immediately wrote him to give him the date whit arrival date, before that, he was very active answering me, when I sent the tracking numbers I did not hear from him anymore until 4 days after the packages had been marked as delivered at front door. he called me and said he didn't know about delivery date and This person says that he did not receive anything that he was out of town. When I asked him if he had cameras, he said no. in the photos of google maps, his house has fences and has cameras, Pirate ship asked me for a police report, I asked him and he would answer something like, " if you need one ill file one" today when he contacted me, after two months, demanding wheels or money, I asked again for the Police report and he said," There is no proof of them belong delivered to my address. It’s okay I will take this up with PayPal and my Cc company." this person does not seem to care because he always took days to answer me and vaguely, after doing a search on google, there is another person who went through the same process with him, in the MB forums and also in bimmerfest where he was banned, right now I already have a paypal for a Charge back claim, so we'll see what happens, he acts like he doesn't know and isn't in a hurry, but the reality is that this guy sells wheels on ebay too. clearly he was not worried or concerned because he was going to get his money back from PayPal

I'd suggest all replies/relevant info to NOT be in this thread but to the OP via PM/EMAIL until the OP has a resolution.

General suggestion to anyone that reads this. I recommend that if you sell anything of significant value, you require adult signature on delivery. Also, needs to be made clear in your listing what the terms of the sale are such as returns allowed and who pays for return shipping, etc.

Thanks, after selling many items on Rennlist, 6speedonline, this forum and other brands, I never had a single problem, but always the first time, this is just so that future sellers, who are already careful, be twice as careful, I'm left with no wheels and no money

You should be covered by ebay seller protection program, since your tracking marked as delivered, make sure you provide info that he was out of town when the package was left at his address. If ebay denies your claim, open appeal case. ebay must force him to file a police report, it's not your your problem if package was stolen since scam artist was out of town.

it was done just via PayPal, third party insurance via pirate ship, declined claim because package was marked as delivered, he said he was out of town, they asked for a Police report but he gave me the runaround like the guy from MB forums, here is proof I asked for a police report and never received one, the few emails he was never worried, two months later he just emailed me saying he wanted his money or the wheels, when I asked for cameras the first time he called me he said he didn't have cameras, 3 weeks ago the day he asked me and demanded his money back, I told him I had requested a police report weeks before and never heard back.. and he said there was no proof of them being delivered...

then I put all this on reenlist, then he called me arguing just about the Thread but no concern on wheels or my money.. I asked again for cameras but this time he said he has a ring but can't get full coverage or some crap like that, but google maps shows a camera on his house and I asked again for police report he told me he went to the police station but they told him, could not give him a police report because there was nothing to report and also that this was only my responsibility as a shipper.

Why don't you file a police report? See if he'll give a false statement to police or whether he'll exercise his right to remain silent. I bet he starts shitting bricks when an officer calls him to ask what happened.

On Ebay and Paypal, you are required to get signature confirmation in order to win an item not received case for an item over $600. If the item is under $600, a non-signature delivery confirmation will win the case.

Why would you not spend literally $5 more to get signature when you were already spending like $200 on shipping wheels in the first place?

Post all his contact info here so if someone googles any of it (name, address, phone number), they can read about the way he scams people.
