Coding coming home lights

Is it possible to code a X5 G05 with coming home lights ?

On my Audi it works perfect, when i come home the lights stay one for 45sec when i leave the car.

By BMW it does not work at all, the leaving home has a mind of its own sometimes it works sometimes it does not.

How do you activate them? You have to push the turn signal forward just after turning off the engine.

why code it? it’s an included feature called pathway lighting. are you turning off the vehicle properly before exiting? (don’t just open the door after parking. you need to press the Start/Stop button to end your trip. this is like turning off the “engine”)

Unfortunately, no. It's one of those silly BMW things. You come to a stop, turn off the engine, push the stalk forward and the lights come on and stay on for the duration you've set in iDrive. If you don't push the stalk, the lights won't come on.

Absolutely agree with you. Not logical at all. As far as I know, it can't be coded.

I have an Audi Q5 as well, so I have had the same experience as you do. I even started a thread about it last year https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1946520
