Nice find! Although I've never really been an X6 fan...but I do love those meaty 315 rears!!

I mentioned this in another thread, but I'm not crazy with what looks to be the non-laser/standard adaptive LED headlights/DRL with G05/G06. I know there is camo, but these standard headlights do not have the classic corona design language. They also remind me too much of a VW Atlas' DRL

Very unusual rear light signature, instead of the now well established signature BMW has been spreading to its new coupé lineup (X4, 8er, future Z4...) and even sedans (future 3er), i.e. one thick straight horizontal LED stripe kicking up in an L shape.

Is it really? Hint: "Inspired by BMW i Vision Dynamics"

iX6 would be nice!

I may be mistaken but isn't that camo'ed X6 rear light signature reminiscent of the 8-series rear light signature with just the fog lights turned on in the 8 series teaser images?

It's looks like third time will be a BIG CHARM!

the new stylistic language for the new gen is BMWs will be interesting on this X6.

Most prominently this it doesn't get the beaver grills.

It has the taillight language. Just excited how it will turn out.

That's not the official name I hope. M50i is an msport and the m in the badge states that. Do we really need to keep adding to the naming of bmws? I guess I'll wait for the 10 jahre msport m55i mxdrive shadow anniversary edition

BMW's M-associated models' hierarchy is the following:

* Full hardcore M model at the very top (in this case X6 M).
* Intermediary M Performance trim (such as this X6 M50i, or the X3 M40i, or the M550i) as the most powerful non-full M model, with a massaged engine, sportier suspension setup, usually 4WD, M Sport exterior and interior package with a few specific extra elements.
* M Sport trim which is basically just a sporty body kit and wheels, sporty suspension and sporty interior but no engine upgrade, and which can pretty much be ordered on any given BMW, even with the base engines.

I know how their lines work but an mperformance model like the x6 m50 will ONLY come in msport trim. Their is no need to include that in the name of the vehicle.

You are right. This is just an X6 M50i. The OP included MSport in the name but that's redundant.

Okay well isn't that an additional reason to include the M letter in the vehicle's name? The M hardware upgrade being part of the DNA of this M Performance model, unlike an M Sport 50i which would be more like a regular model with the cosmetic M treatment applied

They include the optional accessories already available on the vehicles, like the mppsk tune and exhaust, charge more and then don't make a regular 50i version. They are doing the same with the next gen 3/4er with the m340i/m440i. It was an exercise tested out with the m235i carried into the m550i and m850i and all vehicles are getting it. Even the x2 will be available with a turbo 4 making 300hp as an x2 m35i
