yep! While I haven't seen the new X5 in person, I did see the new X7 in a preview at a BMW event.

I feel the same way with the X7. While the grill is huge as compared to prior generations, it's surprisingly proportionate on the car.

I agree. BUT, you can take it off as soon as you get home if you have a dealer sticking to the local laws.

So it's an option to kill the front mounted plate frame and corresponding drill holes.
