The checks come from BMWNA. All BMWCCA does is verify your membership in the club.

Check this out. I submitted all the info required the day after we took delivery. Upon checking on my status yesterday with a phone call found out this morning I've been denied in spite of everything being OK. Why? Because I didn't pay $134 membership fee. No where in the process did I get prompted for payment. Accordingly maybe I figured that the fee would come out of the $1,000 rebate.
I got a call back from a rep yesterday saying that there was a glitch but she had taken care of it. Thank you for your interest in the BMW CCA Membership Reward Program. We have received your application and your application is pending processing at this time. Once your application has been processed by BMW CCA your application will be sent to BMW NA for approval and payment. You can view your rebate status at any time by logging on to our website at www.bmwcca.org. The processing timeframe for rebates is approximately three months. In order to be eligible for this great benefit you must have a full year of membership immediately preceding the delivery date of your vehicle or you must purchase a three year membership or greater no later than 15 days from the vehicle purchase/lease date. Thank you, BMW CCA Staff No grace is being offered - it's 15 days or else. Am pissed. I have a call into the BMW ORG executive director. Any ideas are welcome. |

I don't know who NA is but they're obviously not a part of the Club and neither one seems connected to the other although they're under the same BMW corporate umbrella. Folks really need to be careful with this. Hopefully you don't have a computer glitch like I did also which got me stuck in a Pending status with an incomplete app, supposedly fixed by an administrator as of yesterday but too late because of another technicality. |

For example using my VIN neither me or our local service manager can get a software file downloaded to a USB drive on their website and that's after trying 3 different browsers. Gotta be their server. |

I know this doesn't help your situation, but like i said, for future buyers, if you know your going to purchase soon or in the near future, just join the club now. this will avoid any mishaps. why wait till the day or after your purchase to join? unless i'm misunderstanding, doesn't hurt to join now right? If you or anyone who didn't researched about this rebate, which is pretty well known, you need to accept the consequences. Stop complaining about their rules or blaming their website having glitches or what not. Dont expect them to "fix" their website to accommodate your situation. Spoke with CCA, they said 2 months after getting approved right now. Backlog is about 4000 people with 1 lady doing all of the processing

Okay, that makes sense then that you don't have the check. When you said it was Approved I thought you meant in the Approved status which would me the check would be in the mail shortly.
I'm still in the review stage and it will be close to two months. I contacted them yesterday and said all of my stuff looks good but it could take up to three months for them to review. Add in the two months they told you for the BMWNA process and it could be a total of five months to get the check. Guess we can't complain though since it is a $1k. |

Took 2 months after submission of application to receive this,
"We are pleased to inform you that your Membership Reward Rebate application has been approved! You may expect to receive your check from BMW North America in 2 - 4 weeks. Thank you for your continued support of the BMW Car Club of America, and our favorite marque, BMW. Sincerely, BMW CCA Staff" I guess patience is needed for this process to play out! |
