Based on the Luxembourg configurator, the F15 to G05 price increase is around 12%. I hope the increase isn't that steep in the NA markets.

Yikes. BMW is starting to out-price their customer market. Soon BMW will only be selling to the rich.

Haha...I think BMW already focuses on the "rich"!

Let's all remember this isn't what we need, it's something we want.

Anything more than 3% in the US will surprise me. The X5 is very expensive compared to the competition and a huge price increase will not be tolerated by many buyers. The x3 is not a viable alternative for buyers who are accustomed to the plushness and size of the x5. The x3 is conderably more down market. Thus, people will switch brands if they are priced out of the x5. As a result, the price increase wont be that much over the current gen.

BMW has always focused on upper middle class and the rich, nothing new.

Yes. And BMW is increasingly pushing prices beyond the reach of even upper middle class. If BMW is going to shift upwards towards only the rich, so be it, but the rest of us are going to miss the brand.

Say wha? Did you not look at the trim options? Shows M Sport available for 40i and 30d.

Anyone know the the difference between the 2 axel air suspension and the m-sport adaptive suspension professional?

As it seems if you request the 3rd row then you have to have the 2 axel suspension.

Couldn't justify buying another X6 in late 2019 as the spy pictures seem an evolution and as I'd have it in metallic black to most it would look the same or very similar. Time for a big change around Dec 2018!

My bad. I apparently just selected the first option "BMW X5 40i xLine" at the engine step without realizing it. I saw the 40i and figured that was the engine I wanted. Strange place to put the trim selection...on the Engine page.

UK 40i M-Sport gets the M exhaust system...and the US doesn't. Lame.
