Any idea (link, reference?) if the BMW Loyalty credit only applies to financing or leasing through BMWFS or is it applied if you're staying in the BMW family and finance elsewhere?

Also, any good Lease calculators out there? I've been using a 10 year old BMW lease worksheet in Excel, and I'm not coming up with anywhere near the same lease numbers as my dealer with the same terms.

Thanks!

No link, but it's been confirmed by my CA and numerous others that it's only through BMWFS. You won't get it if you find your own financing or pay cash.

Abegweit - You said you drove the X Line with air suspension. Did you compare it to Non air or the M sport package i6?

Might as well ask out of curiousity, and that I can't find the answer on the BMW site or internet.

Anybody know what loan financing rate BMWFS is offering for outstanding credit right now? USAA is offering 2.99%, I think, if you use their services.

It's 2.79% for 2019 X5s.

What area are you in? I'm in CT and it shows 4.19% my dealer also tried to tell me I got qualified for 5.19 with a 802 credit score. What a joke! I went on to ask for the advertised 4.19% and the finance guy tried to make it out like he was doing me a favor by giving me 4.19% in exchange for a bottle of scotch! Take alt financing with you to the closing Incase they try to screw you!

No, I drove the only car available at the time - X-Line with air and 20" wheels. In Comfort it felt quite soft, almost too soft for my liking. Sport totally transformed the car. The suspension tightened up without feeling harsh, and the lowered ride height was very apparent from the driver's seat. My dealer now has 5 cars, so I'm going to drive a few more combinations (wheel size, M Sport) before deciding.

2.79% would be a good deal. You can certainly do better than a 4.19% rate, especially with a credit score over 800.

Oh, I do notice though, they quote the same monthly lease payment, regardless of zip code
