Thank you, do you need the professional in order to get adaptive speed control?

It will probably be like a credit card which you can just put in your wallet or whatever and then don't have to carry a bulky key around with you.
Renault have a credit card type key. My hire car Captor has it, quite nifty.

In my F15, I cannot see that part of the cluster with where I have my steering wheel situated (top of wheel blocks it). Hopefully the angles are different in the G05 as I prefer my steering wheel lower.

DAP/ETJA Not Working

I purchased my X5 with Driving Assistant Professional package (with Extended Traffic Jam Assistant) but cannot get the ETJA/hands-off steering under 37 MPH to work no matter what I try.

Can anyone offer some help?

well, a quick search would answer your question. In order for it to work you must be on a divided highway in traffic not a normal road. Once the car identifies the right situation (via GPS for the highway) and using it's cameras you'll be prompted to engage the system. This assumes you have steering assist and ACC also enabled

Hopefully this will help. I’m not sure if country regulations for this system varies it’s functionality though.

I see purple squares in the center part of the dash which I have seen in one or more posts here.

Is that a version of the camera feature that is Pro rather than just Plus?

Great video. I hope the system operates like that in the US.

I get mine this week. Can't wait!

That's just the camera they're using is picking up the IR illuminators in the Driver attention camera. Hardware is no different between Plus and Pro AFAIK. I have Plus and if you try to film the dash you'll see the purple.

Thanks, all. I’ve used it under the functional conditions listed in the owner’s manual, yet it still won’t work. I haven’t had the third icon appear in the cluster in the digital cockpit. It very well could just be a matter of the system not considering the conditions of my drive suitable for ETJA to kick in, but nonetheless it would be nice to have some way to confirm the system is actually functional. Moreover, the Drive Attention camera doesn’t prompt me Keep my eyes on the road (i.e., when I intentionally look away momentarily to test the system), even when just the standard (not Plus) Driving Assistant mode is active—is that normal?
