I had the same problem this morning until I signed into my account in the car. After that, after about an hour the location updated. My username is my email address and my password was the one I setup in the app.

For the remote 3D view, you have to agree to terms and enable it in the car - did you do this? CAR -> Settings -> General Settings -> Data Privacy -> Configure Services -> BMW ConnectedDrive -> Remote 3D View (and a bunch of others).

Remote 3D View not working on mine either. Running .45. Dealer Genius was unable to get it functioning at delivery yesterday.

My CA and Genius both couldn't get Remote 3D running.. CA said he sent off another new X5 delivery/owner earlier in the week with the same issue.

I'll call BMW's Geniuses tomorrow and run through the issues I'm seeing. I figure the more of us that complain with specifics, the more likely this stuff gets ironed out.

Remote lock, horn, etc were non-functional. My vehicle's location still shows the dealer's maintenance center/storage lot.

I did go into the menu and found where the 'terms and conditions' were located, scrolled down hit the checkmark and now 3D Remote View works nicely. The system should not allow you to even activate this feature until this is done. These boys ain't exactly Apple when it comes to software UI design.

Remote Software Upgrade mysteriously reappeared. After the update last week I'm running 11/2018.45. Originally I think it was .23. I'll be talking to my SA after Christmas to see if they have any further updates and to keep me updated when there are so I can bring it in. So. Many. Bugs.

Yup - I just experienced the comfort access bug where it doesn't recognize you are approaching with the key - or departing with the key. Just remains locked - or unlocked. Key fob works just fine to lock or unlock but - annoying.

So far I've found:

- Apply Pay bug when phone is place on the charging pad
- Comfort Access bug
- Connected Drive App connectivity bug
- Playlists disappearing bug

I have .43 which does not resolve the Apple Pay issue. I thought someone posted that .45 did not remove Apple Pay, but glad to hear that it worked for you.

I want to run Waze with iPX in the charger - rather than using CarPlay - but with my R3 in the power plug it is not a easy thing to reach in and clear Apple Pay.

Well the apply pay didn't show up for a couple days. Then when I connected both my and my wife's phone it started showing up again. They'll come out with a fix eventually. Until then I throw it on the charger, swipe up and t really doesn't cause any issues for me.

To ember the newest software do you need to take it to the dealer? Or can I download it at home?
