Definitely it will be cracked? I appreciate your insight, what type of encryption do they use? I'm no coding expert, but I have a friend who is

It is not that type of coding; it does not take decryption.

E-sys just gives end-user access to modify additional settings.

It is about understanding vehicle architecture. Here is example, though new FLM2 modules are completely different.

Sorry, I knew that. I thought you were talking about the cornering lights.

I see. In other words it'll take time to figure out what is going on within each module before much can be done. Is there a way to compare US esys files to the euro ones and see what's enabled/disabled to speed things along?

Was looking at files. It is strange that 8S4 is not in VIN, but
  • LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y
  • C_AFS_ENA
are turned off in US market. Those would re-enable cornering.

How do we re-enable them?? Seems like this could actually be a simple enough fix if this is the case. 😬

Are you able to see these options under the ECU or did you just do a file compare? I heard most ECU's are unreadable right now.
Should be able to add 8S4 by VO Coding right?

I don't know if I can speak on his behalf but he can do a lot more than your or I.

Yes, i can read the ECU's.

Sorry, nevermind, meant remove. Its been a few years since I coded. I'm looking at my notes for the F25 and 5AP and 8S4 were removed and then the like 40 values in LHM were modified and a couple of more in FRM.

My X5 has 5AP, which is antiglare decoded. Are you seeing 5AP?
Can you change LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y and C_AFS_ENA?

G05 has FLM2, rather than LHM/TMS like F25.

G05 will have 5AP, but not 8S4.

Yes, I can change that and so could anyone as is it in Launcher-mapped ECU. The other ECU's/CAFD may cause issue for some.

I assume this is what enables cornering lights?

On other chassis, yes. I have not yet tested on G05. I am waiting for the 45e, before I pick up mine.

Hopefully they launch later this year, if you need a test mule I'll gladly volunteer since I have everything except night vision and rear seat entertainment.

is there a way to code more color options for ambient lighting? It would be great to have orange lower lighting with a blue accents for example.

If you have ENET, we can do anytime.

Yes, same parameters that exist in G01/G11/G30 exist in G05 for Ambient lighting.

I just connected to e-sys and you are right, I can see all the ECU's but everything is trimmed except for a couple of ECU's. I searched the ECU's for LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y and C_AFS_ENA and nothing comes up.
Do you have the untrimmed files? I didn't think they were available yet? Or am I am looking in the wrong spot?

I'm using e-sys 3.27.1 and Launcher 2.80
