Can someone check their M60i in the recall checker on the German site?

I am getting an open issue on that site that corresponds to a stop sale on new models. Nothing on US site.

Anyone else getting this?

It appears to be Valvetronic related. I also pulled some inventory from the local places and it is showing up as well on the German site only.

I checked the site posted above and this was the recall “STOP025416”. My build was week 1, 2024.

Thanks, same for me. Not sure what the Valvetronic issue is. It looks like it might be affecting all new V8's. I first spotted the issue on a stop sale for a new X7 M60i.

Just checked for my 2024 X5 M60i (USA) and it says there’s an “open technical enhancement available” for my vehicle. Not sure if this is the same thing as you’re getting.

Yes same thing. I happened to get a dealer to check the stop code and it's linked to the Valvetronic issue.

Have the same message here. Technical enhancement? Was hoping they were adjusting our muffler sound. 😂

Not sure either, but I have just that message. I do not have the safety message as someone posted above.

We need to get a copy of the service bulletin to find out what the issue is and impact.

Try the German site above on the first post and see what you get. On the US site I don't see anything either. I also checked the stop sale vehicles on the US site, and they say no open recalls.

Confirming I also see the stop sale/enhancement with X7, so does appear to be all M60i related.

Is valvotronic same as VANOS?
Asking because my 24 X40i is in the shop for the “switchable rocker arm” recall fix and the SA messaged me saying they’ve got a code pop up for something related to the VANOS and that it’ll take additional time to fix.

Okay guys, you got me scared...

What does this STOPxxx code mean, and what are real life implications and once the car is at the dealer, what will they do to them?

Also, should I be expecting the dealer to complete any work related to this code prior to my New Car Delivery Day planned for next Friday?... (can't wait, frankly!)

Yea I just checked the German site as well and I got the same message. Should I bring it to the attention of my dealer or just leave it for now until more info is released about it. Not sure what to do as this is my first BMW and first vehicle I've ever owned that's had a recall.

Not sure yet, I will be asking the dealer tomorrow for more information. They have a bulletin (B12 02 24) so we should be able to upload it tomorrow and we can have the details.
