They took it off yesterday, I would imagine since it expired. It should be back within a week or so if it follows previous years.

I remembered called in a month ago, the agent told me I can call in for a cert if expired. Not sure if it still works, anyone who has the demand worth a call.

I called Truecar today and they mentioned that Penfed has decided to cancel the new car incentive for BMW cars. My X5 is on its way to the dealership and I have an expired Penfed offer code that I can’t use. Really bummed about it…

I wouldn't take that as accurate yet. Give it a few days to see if the updated offer gets put on the site. Many of us speculated that BMW would pull the incentive from PenFed now that they are processing it on their own site but didn't think it would really happen.

Yep, I’m also truly bummed. This incentives was one of the main reasons why I decided to splurge on an X5. My car is on the way to the dealership.

I reached out to my SA and this is what he said: “…The good news is that PenFed and bmw will probably renew the program for 2022 and should give out some info on it soon.” So keeping my fingers crossed. Will keep this thread posted.

this same thing happens most years ... granted we're in crazy times, but if history is a predictor then it's just their slow bureaucracy ... this PenFed program is very poorly documented.

it's why there's so much drama around calling it the military incentive despite penfed doing the exact same incentive for other brands for years.

Seems BMW has no discount this year anymore. Penfed already put out offers for other brands like Audi....

It could be BMW pulled the domestic military discount from them but I would give it a week or so to be sure. There are other manufactures missing also so it could be they just haven't gotten the new year information set up yet.

Yeah, definitely notable, here's from 2021:

And today: BMW, Mini, & Volvo missing

BMW's incentive was high compared to others and BMW allowed active/retired military to skip the 60 day PenFed membership requirement all other MFRs required ...

Clearly other mfrs are still offering the incentive so to the extent BMW isn't, something in the terms agreement must've either failed or at least be unsettled ...

Mini is showing up now (upto $1500) - so maybe maybe BMW offer will pop up at some time. Though - not gonna hold my breath. It is what it is.

Mini has always been showing for me so not sure that points to anything. I asked someone to try and get some info. Granted sources inside BMW can be as unreliable as the Genius line but the information I got is that BMW pulled the domestic military incentive from PenFed because a few years ago they merged with another credit union and they got rid of their limited membership, mainly military and defense. That does make sense and something a few of us speculated about when BMW started processing the incentive on their own site. Hopefully that info is not correct and it will show up again.

Where are you seeing mini showing up?

Don't see it on www.penfed.truecar.com

^^

Yea - I wasn't seeing Mini on my end before but now I do. And same result - when I click on it - "Sorry - we can't find that page"

So...maybe some updates are still going on there is the only hope. But, I doubt Penfed will have any BMW offers going forward
