Steering Wheel and seat when 45e is turned off

Does the steering wheel move all the way up and in and the seat move all the way back when the car is turned off and you are getting out? Is this one of the individual settings that can be configured?

Mine is on order (week 5 build) so I have hundreds of questions.

My 2013 Dodge Charger did that and it made it easier to get in and out for us big guys.

the steering wheel does retract and move up upon opening the door when exiting… every time. it can't be adjusted, configured or coded to behave otherwise. the seat does not move at all from its programmed seat memory position when exiting. a workaround to this would be to program one seat memory position for driving and one for exiting, but remember that the steering wheel will always retract

Thanks for the quick response.

The steering wheel movement was the big item. I could use the memory 1 and 2 trick if I really need the seat to move back.

Bimmercode seems to have an option for seat adjustment for easy entry. Haven't tried it. It is inter the seat module section.

how do you program the steering wheel to adjust when you open the door to exit? Thanks in advance.

you don't/can't. the steering wheel automatically retracts out of the way to its default, non programmable, non adjustable position when you open the door. if you want the wheel to begin retracting before you open the door, then the workaround I mentioned above will work
