Anyone of ya got a tattoo from Kat von D from L.A.? They ran a TV show here in Germany and her work is quiet impressive, especially portraits. Thinking about to make an appoint next time when Im around there...

I don't think you should choose your artist over a show. Now KVD is a talented tattoo and portrait artist, but if you want New school, or American traditional or another style, you might want to choose an artist that specializes in that style. Also I'm pretty sure appointments for her are pricey and booking well in advance.

Honestly, there are a lot of good local artists, just have to look at portfolios and make an educated decision. Yeah some of the people on TV do good work, but that doesn't always mean their the best.
