2024 Mineral White X6 M60i delivered!

Just picked up my brand new toy yesterday.
Not going to drive much until I get clear bra installed early next week.
I have been driving coupe/sendan all my life, so it feels weird to drive a taller SUV.

By the way, my fear of not being able to easily disable auto stop and start in comfort mode is not bothering that much as the A.S.S. process is pretty smooth with 48v mild hybrid engine. However, I did notice that my A/C gets little bit warmer as A.S.S. kicks in and gets back to normal temperature once engine comes back on. I think this would bother me a lot during very hot summer.

Below is some pics I took during the delivery.
I also took pic next to my Alpine White 22 M5 Comp.

That's so true!
Also, dealer had 2023 X6 M50i in white color so I was able to compare LCI and pre-LCI X6. IMO, LCI X6 front looks better, sportier, sleeker, and more modern than pre-LCI X6. Overall, BMW did a great job on this. I just wished that they did more on the back of the X6 to make LCI stand out more.

Bellissimo- she is magnificent and photographs just fine!

I too have a new X6 and am being driven insane by the ASS….yes it’s pretty good in many circumstances….but ASS is awful in stop and go traffic, causing hesitation and lurching. At traffic lights, I let my foot off the brake for a split second to restart the motor to preserve AC settings- and every time I do this I feel resentment for ASS being imposed upon me!

I’ve been corresponding with BMW Genius and my service center trying to figure out if they are able/willing to code ASS out…but nothing yet. Bimmercode not yet compatible but maybe someday.

Congrats and enjoy the new ride. If you've never had a sportier SUV/SAV you'll quickly get to appreciate how wonderful of a DD it is. Although you also have an M5, so probably not on the same level

A.S.S is still annoying even with the hybrid, and yeah at least I have a button in the X5M even if it doesn't remember the setting. But you always have sport mode if you want to disable it

Congratulations! I did the same thing and brought my X5 to the shop for PPF after I took delivery. What interior color and trim did you get?

They should at least give us the option to disable it in the Sport Individual setting when using Comfort drivetrain. I'm going to reach out to them too. Maybe, just maybe, if enough of us complain, they'll actually do something about it.

Yea, I can definitely feel the height and weight of X6 .vs the M5.
Using sport mode right now feels weird as RPM is limited to 4k.
It will take me few weeks to unlock the full potential.

I got Tacora Red with fineline black wood.
New Sensafin feels great on X6. It feels almost as luxurious as merino in M5. I am sure that this will also last longer than merino leather.

Congrats! Having owned a handful of X6s, I'm really loving the LCI.

Agreed! Also went with Tacora Sensafin. Very soft and supple compared to the merino in my previous 8GC, and F11.
