Picked mine up late Friday afternoon. Couldn't be happier with everything.

For the folks getting ready to pick it up shortly, congratulations, and many happy and safe miles. Enjoy the experience.

Very happy with the overall dealership experience, from CA to finance manager to onsite genius. All very professional. Ordering the '23 worked out well. Got it in plenty of time for the existing tax credit, and none of the options ordered were deleted. I had a few questions that I thought of for the genius, and he knew it all. Also seemed to like the fact that there were some questions that he could cover.

West coast deliveries have been around 3-5 weeks. Depends on your train. Some folks with week 33 builds had about 4-5 weeks from dispatched. My ride took 3 weeks to get to San Bernardino while another person from week 37 actually made it in two weeks from dispatched.

I have a week 39 build and called BMW Genius yesterday. Was told train had passed the midway point (in Kansas City I think the said?) and that it should be arriving into Southern California (I think San Bernardino?) no later than next Monday so I expect it to to be ready for pickup at my dealer in LA by next weekend.

Hello everyone, I really need some of your opinions on my vehicle delivery situation as I'm receiving contradictory information from the dealership and BMW Genius.

Theory: Vehicle is at the factory VS dealership

(BMW GENIUS SAYS THE VEHICLE IS AT THE DEALERSHIP)
BMW Genius claimed that the vehicle I ordered left the Spartanburg plant on September 25 and was delivered to the dealership on September 28 at BMW of Fort Myers. However, the BMW of Fort Myers was closed on September 28 due to Hurricane Ian.

(DEALERSHIP SAYS THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER LEFT THE FACTORY)
According to my CA, he thinks the vehicle has never left the Spartanburg factory and is possibly looking for a driver to deliver the vehicle.

I don't understand how I am receiving two contradictory information on the vehicle status.

Has anyone dealt with similar experience? My worst case scenario would be receiving a flood damaged vehicle.

I would guess it left the factory and is still en route. The tracking sometimes shows At the Dealership prior to it arriving, sometimes the opposite. Mine show at the dealer on a Saturday morning but it didn't arrive there until the following Wednesday evening. Just give it a few days since I'm sure the hurricane slowed things up.
