2019 G05

So my 2019 G05 just failed emissions. Anyone heard of this before because of coding. There is no tuner installed

What was the failure reason? Do you know the vehicle's history?

How many miles have you driven since purchasing? Sounds like the system was reset or cleared (maybe by dealer) and you haven’t driven it enough since then.

Oh I've driven plenty of miles. My thoughts were that I coded truck to start in sport mode and when I did that when I use BimmerLink I would get errors in the motor electronics the errors said something about ambient temperatures not really sure exactly so I coded the truck back to starting in comfort and since then the info error codes are gone.

Could have an ecu flash on it; can have BMW rewrite the whole ecu to resolve.

Would think that BMW wouldn't CPO it with it being flashed

A check engine light came on a few weeks ago but I just cleared using BimmerLink. But I heard I may be stored and causing a problem

So I just read that every time you clear coded using BimmerLink it puts car into not ready state and needs to be driven too get into ready state again. I constantly check andclear any codes using BimmerLink and must have done this before I went for inspection not realizing what it was doing. Also since I change driving start mode back too comfort BimmerLink no longer has the errors in motor electronics ecu about ambient temperatures.
