Yeah, it's easy. You can get a harness from technic pnp and I used the audio control lci1 line out converter to an infinity powered sub.

What model infinity powered sub did you use. I read that due to the vehicle being a hybrid that the max draw from the amp should be 30A. Do you notice the battery draining quicker? Do you only drive in “hybrid” mode?

Infinity bass link DC 10" I had it laying around from a previous car. I don't think the amperage draw matters. There is a huge 12 volt battery in the cargo area on my 50e. I drive all week on electric only. No issues.

I second crackerjack, easy on the 45e

Got the Technic PNP harness as well that plugs between the booster and "the car". Everything is so close, wires are easy to manage, only one easy trim to remove (under the cover to expose the battery posts and ground point).

I got the Wavetech LOC that can be ordered with the harness. An "auto" turn on LOC keeps it easy, and bringing the remote out to the sub/amp. No need to look for a switched 12v.

Works well with an active Audison APBX 10 AS2 (400w RMS).

Have you guys had to disable any mics in the X5 when you add a sub? I'm my previous cars, the subwoofer had interfered with the ANC and caused problems, so i had to disable microphones in the headliner.
