Here's a photo of the factory tow hitch on a white M Sport.

With extended shadowline option, the decorative exhaust will be the only item that's shadowlined in the M Sport rear bumper. The rear "diffuser" stays body color and the surround, dark grey.

Dang, that is not a good look. That “diffuser” should be black...why draw attention to the receiver and wiring plug??? Come on BMW, you f’d this one!

Random X5 (G05) shot of the day... Add yours - let's make this an ongoing thread!

It is dark grey, the exhaust is the only black part. I was debating whether to go black or match but decided to match obviously! The grey is called "Dark Shadow Metallic (Code B27)", unfortunately there are no carbon options or the like with the tow bar. By the way, the paint shop had the diffuser off in 10 minutes, don't listen to the dealer advice that you have to take the whole bumper off to remove it!

If you picked yours up at Laurel with brown interior, it was parked next to mine which is the same model, but black on black. Great spec, we even picked the same wheels.

Part of the ambient interior lighting. You can set the interior lighting to bronze, BMW orange, white, blue, green, violet. Multi-contour seats have additional LED lighting in the back of the upper backrest below the travel comfort system.

It's nice to see you start your BMW experience with such a small, understated model. I guess its go big or go home for you!

Welcome to the club. BTW, its a myth that BMW owners don't use their blinkers.

Picked this up the other day after a 3 year "hiatus" with a Volvo XC90. Always awesome to get back into a BMW and love this new X5 so far. First BMW I didn't custom order or find with exact options I wanted, and I'm impressed with how much is standard now that we used to pay extra for (for a while there) just to get that BMW feel.. finally a BMW that feels like a BMW "right out of the box" again.

Is it me or my iPhone but I see the exterior handles and "floor" lights kind of blue?
