As the software update overrode my prior coding, I went back in and re-coded ASS using bimmercode beta which worked perfectly and didn't break any of the connected drive stuff. One thing to note, I remembered more of the ECUs being available last time I went in to code ASS, which was the only ECU available this go around.
I had mine updated yesterday to 7/2019.71. I guess it is the last est the dealer downloaded.

I am excited to see what they install on mine here in the next week. I hope this is the last trip to the dealer for an update that can be rolled out OTA. Just waiting for that early Christmas present telling me there's one sitting and ready to download! 07/2019.70 seems stable, but has some weird quirks...chops CarPlay audio in and out like on older bluetooth. it doesn't disconnect, but quickly cuts in and out. it also shuts off the intelligent safety for no reason. I thought it was maybe since I shut it down before turning the car off the previous drive, but nope. also, the level change availability is hit or miss. My SA said he saw a new update, so hoping he can fix it up. Waiting 2 more weeks until it goes in...holding out on that new update!

When i tried to code the Driver Assistance View using e-sys it could not read the CAFD file for DKOMBI4. I was able to code other functions like Auto_Start_Stop Memory, disable legal disclaimers etc..

Anybody able to code the Driver Assistance View in version 07/2019.70

No need for 3.4 beta any longer, Bimmercode iOS version 3.4 has be in App Store for a couple of weeks now and the Android version longer. And yes, you can code ADV using Bimmercode in KOMBI ECU using Expert Mode (4 FDL parameters).

Should probably look in and take coding discussions to threads already with that info. This thread is about a specific iDrive software version, not coding.
