Yea, and these are also cars that people said BMW wouldn't sell many of. You forgot to mention the 3 Series, which is selling impressively well for the "death of the sports saloon". Every other car companies sales are down this year, and BMW is at a 10%+ surplus.

Don't be a party pooper, nobody likes that.

Who cares? I prefer sedans and will continue to buy the style for as long as it is made and available.

For those that like minivans on stilts, the world is clearly your lobster.

I have an X5 50i

Your logic confuses me. This is based off ones preference and every day needs.

Personal attacks on ones choice in vehicle aren't necessary

There's more F34s than F30s on Munich roads, at least according to my perception. But the 6er GT is indeed really rare (saw one today though) compared to the G30.

In any case, I do think it makes sense to combine the 3er GT and the 4er GC into a new model. Even more so as the 3er/4er lineup will get the I4 as well. The 3er GT was just too different from the rest of the 3 series to make economical sense.

So then they will have the 3er sedan/touring, the 4er coupe/convertible and the I4/4er GC - much more balanced lineup in my opinion.

That said, BMW sold about 500 fewer passenger cars this November than they did last November, but over 3000 more light trucks. So the trend away from cars is very much alive.
70% of new US Automotive Sales are SUVs, Crossovers and Pickups.

Although anything can happen, especially since Merc beat BMW for November sales by >2000. It also seems Lexus is taking 3rd place from Audi.
No - not even close. Through November, MB is at 322,450 while BMW is at 290,000. This doesn't include any of the crap inclusion of MB branded vans or BMW minis. Pure MB vs. BMW - apples to apples.

And Lexus was never 3rd place to Audi; last year Audi sold 223K vs. Lexus sales of 298K

Carsalesbase.com is the source.

Mercedes' without their Sprinter vans are actually behind BMW, that is what I was referring to. ~285k for Merc currently for their passenger vehicles and BMW at ~289k for their vehicles. With the vans Mercedes is ahead of BMW techniqually but what I was referring to were their everyday vehicles from sedans, to coupes, suvs, etc. For Lexus, I stated they were 3rd of all luxury brands, as they are ahead of Audi at ~262k vs Audi currently at < ~200k

Not sure how you are getting these numbers, this is from BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and Audi's official company news/reports sites.

The worst performing models over at Audi are the A6 (Just redesigned mind you), A7 and R8.

Damn, Mercedes caught up quick. There was a time this year where BMW had a sizeable lead that I thought Mercedes could not really chip at.

I think its the GLC and GLE sales that are causing them to catch up. They each seem to be more than the X3/4 and X5/6, not to mention they also fill a lot of niches with vehicles like the G-Wagon. They could pull a last minute win by the end of the next month and keep the crown.

The A7 and B8.5 S4/5 for the longest time were the only Audi's I would ever consider. While the new versions of those cars look good, I still think the last generations looked really good and even better, I would love one in white like the photo below, but now I just don't like the new ones mainly because A7 and S5 lost their great supercharged V6's in favor of the new and laggy turbo V6, and now the S7 has lost its glorious V8 for a V6.
