Just put down a deposit on a 2020 x5. A very, very special thanks to you all who helped me in this process, especially pointing me to dealers who finally gave us a deal we liked. Im not sure if you'd like to be named publicly but thank you so much!

Congrats! Can you share details of your specific build? I’ve finalized my deal but I’m going back/forth on the trim & color before my dealer enters the build tomorrow morning - curious what you landed on in your specs!

I've learned a ton on this forum over the past year or so researching the G05 and understanding which options I should get. I also learned a ton on negotiating for a good deal - kudos to everyone here.

40 points from 128 to 168? he proposed 148, I asked if he could split from 128 to 148 to 138 and they said no. they said the lowest they'd go is 148.

What kind of discounts (pre-incentives) should I expect on a 2019 X5 40i in NJ/PA? I was offered 11% on a 2020. Any differences between 2019 and 2020 models? Thank you.

I think 'drive recorder' and 'skylounge' sunroof are the two options available in the 2020 executive package that's not in the 2019. the 2019 is also the first MY since the refresh and many have said it has a few more bugs that were addressed in the 2020. If you're looking to buy, get the 2020. idk how much more of a discount i'd want to want to deal with certain software features not working correctly.

Then it's time to cross the state lines and also send an email to the General Manager of this dealership telling him how business is done instead of loosing customers.

Will one of the lease gurus please weigh in on this deal? I am unclear as to why the payment is so much higher than my 80k msrp M3, so posting here. Thanks in advance!
MSRP: $69,095 Selling Price: $62,976 Rebates: $1,250 (Including Loyalty or whatever) Adjusted Cap cost: $65,535 Miles/yr: 10k Lease Factor: 0.00148 Money down: $1,286.55 (Including first month's payment) Total lease/month: $863 Please note, I am in NY, so I think taxes on lease work differently than other states. |

As far as taxes go, in NY and a few other states, the taxes on the entire lease amount are due upfront rather than paid monthly. |

Edit: Could it be that on your M3 you paid the taxes upfront rather than rolling them into the lease like this one does. There also is probably a difference in MF as well as RV. |
