Coding Question

I have coded my X5 several times but have not been able to access several ECUs using a Veepeak bluetooth adapter.

I just signed up as a Beta user. What risks am I taking if I code something that is only available to a Beta user?

As a regular user I am unable to access the ECU for the tailgate options which is one that I would like to code.

That adapter doesn't support (properly) G series cars. See here.

I'd be more worried about using an unsupported adapter than coding something only available in the beta.
