discount: $6394 incl 1250 loyalty

4000 cash down; 10,000 miles/year for 36 months at MF of 0.00148 and a residual of 58%

monthly payments: 1072.59


So the total discount is nowhere close to 10% but they are claiming they are already making no money on the build, and they cant offer us anything close to the mininum MF of 0.00128. Our credit is excellent, idk why I cant get a MF close to 0.00128 or am I being unreasonable for thinking I should get that? Is this a good and reasonable deal, I feel like its not?

You are getting a 5.99% off MSRP not including loyalty which is not a very good deal and as a bonus they are marking up your MF. I did not do the Math for the rest but keep on shopping around would be my advice.

1. What is not clear is the year and model of the X5 you're inquiring on. Is it on the dealer lot or custom order?

Example for Knoxville, TN 37901 - There's a $1K lease credit for M50i and $750 conquest

3. You're getting 7.5% discount - you should be able to negotiate more
4. You're getting MF rate is marked up - adding to approx $26/mo
5. Do not put $4K down on your lease - put it towards 7 MSD which you're only able to calc until you arrive at a purchase price you feel you're getting a deal on.
6. While forum members can assist you in evaluating your lease, you need to do more leg work.

1. this is on a custom build 2020 x5, not one off the lot
2. my local offer is a $750 lease credit. This is not the local dealership. Our local dealership's deal is worse than this and the manager doesn't want to move off it, nor do they have an allocation for a custom order anyway. This is a dealership in Florida that I spoke with.

3. I tried to negotiate more, but the SA said that they mark it up 6% on custom orders, and she's giving us that whole 6%, and the loyalty incentive on top of it, and that's all she's willing to do right now. I know others have gotten like 10% before incentives here but idk what you say when they say no this is the best we can do or else we're gonna lose money.

5. I did ask about the MSD, she said she was reluctant to say whether or not their finance depart would do that for us. it seemed she didnt even know what it was about, or how it worked. I want to do MSD with whoever we do business with.

I honestly didn't think it would be so hard to get a fair deal on this car given its the end of the year and stuff. But thank you for your help and advice.

1. Thank you for the clarification - but is this a 40i, 50i or M50i
2. You should work with a volume dealer in Northern VA/MD and schedule a PDC
3. Pure dealer alternative facts, see 2

Just don't rely on dealers to come forward with large discount off the bat. It takes individual work to get a good deal and more to get an exceptional deal.
