I also filled out my lease paperwork with BMWFS at that time. The pre-approval portion is an important part because your credit will put you in a financing tier that affects your money factor. But it also locks in your rate for 60-90 days which is a big deal especially for a custom order.

The dealer sounds legit but giving you a quote sheet doesn't guarantee anything at the end of the day so just be careful and double check all of the numbers. It sounds like they're altering an existing allocation and have no worries about selling your desired build should you back out. I surmise that based on them not asking for a deposit. I would think they'd already have a production number to give to you but perhaps they're holding off on that until they actually go in there and change the build.

You're going to love the car!
Yes, your right they are altering an existing allocation. I remember them saying that. I find out a lot more Tues/Wed and will update. I found it very strange this is all I received. Being in finance myself I was very surprised. I asked multiple times and got the same response, no this is all you need at this time.

There is a 2,000 BMW APR credit/rebate when financing the car through BMWFS. He would know all of this if this was a legit deal/ order.
He went from showing us a form that had figures of him buying the X5 to the reality of him leasing it.

The previous posters are absolutely correct on what you get as far as the paperwork immediately after placing a custom order on a BMW.

okay so I'm in the southeast myself, and I'm leasing. We already got the 1250 credit, and so I asked my SA if I could also get the $750 lease credit since I thought it added on top of it. He said no, you either get the 1250 or the $750, you cant have both. So I guess OP is buying then? (now I look foolish for asking my dealer this but hey every bit helps!)

Not commenting on his deal/situation but when I custom ordered mine last December I didn't get any paperwork. That could be because we had a "paper" trail in email that included all of the details of my build as well as the selling price, lease info, etc. When I went down to give them my deposit I just verified the build sheet was correct and initialed it. Left with no paperwork except a receipt for the deposit.

You just joined here the day I did my deal. You’ve made 4 total posts in total.. all in my thread, and all negative. I think your the troll.

They are altering an existing build allocation. And please do the reverse math. Look at the bottom $813 Sign and Drive Lease on a 77,395 MSRP. The numbers are right for a lease. Put all the numbers into LeaseHckr. I am not purchasing it. I will invite you to my home, pay for your flights and bring you to the dealership all on me since you think I’m lying. Willing to do so?

so, before I look foolish with my dealer, is it accurate/true that you CANNOT combine the $750 BMW Conquest/Loyalty lease rebate with the 1250 customer loyalty rebate?

My dealer is saying I cant, but OP is claiming that his dealer can. So which is it?

I don’t think your lying . I know you are lying.
You may think people on this website are uneducated but we aren’t.

You don’t even know what the Conquest rebate is and how you qualify for it . You’ve said nothing about it .
You only get that rebate if your coming from another car manufacturer and the BMW dealership accepts it.
You just don’t get an additional $750 loyalty rebate.
The current loyalty rebate on the X5 is $1,250

I don’t believe anything on “your” form.

You would have legit paperwork either from being in person at a BMW dealership or via email.
You also would have a deposit receipt.
You said you live in CA but your “buying “ a car probably from Georgia . Nothing makes any sense.

You only qualify for the additional $750 conquest rebate if you are coming from another car manufacturer and going into a BMW.

It's one or another as far as I know, you can't get both of them loyalty or conquest and I really don't want to ask this question to my dealer.

Since your so educated, California is not in the Southeast. But you will probably say I am lying about that too? The US map is lying? Because that’s where I said I am from in the first posts. Now this is your 5th total post on this forum all in my thread. All negative once again. PM me your phone number, I’ll buy you a round trip ticket and you can come with me Tuesday and ask all these questions to my dealership.

Thank you for clearing up what a conquest rebate is. And yeah, I don't have any other paperwork yet from my dealer but I do have a deposit receipt and that form thing they give you to go over all your options for your build that I need to sign off and send back (also out of state dealer, need to make a change on the form). They said everything else would be worked out in due course after we finalize the build and they lock down the allocation tomorrow.

By the way, as far as I know lots of BMW dealerships don't work on Sundays. Are you dealing with one of the 1% of the BMW dealerships maybe in the whole US that work on Sundays?

Guess you’re not a Wharton graduate either.

I said that you currently live in California yet you’re buying a car from the Southeast probably Georgia.
Shipping alone will cost you 1,500-2,000.
Again, nothing you’ve posted makes any sense . Your paperwork and you’re argument supporting it. You’ve confused other forum members with all of your misleading posts.

Why don’t you just post the name of the dealership and the salesperson that way we can call to verify what you’re saying? Or is that just for Wharton graduates ?

Given the doc fee he is paying, my guess is that he is dealing with a Florida dealer and they are open on Sundays.

PM me your phone number and we can call the dealer together. I’ve invited you on my own dime to fly out and come with me on Tuesday. When the deal is confirmed and I show you I am telling the truth, admit your wrong the entire time on here and apologize then please stop posting negative lies and leave this forum. Deal?
