The E46 M3 isn't going anywhere. I was actually bidding on an E36 M3 on eBay the other day. Didn't win it though. The goal would be to S54 swap it. |

@silvergray545 - listen, you sound like a person that already has an appreciation for VW's.....listen to the voice of experience.....
A tuned TDi will provide all the thrills a GLI or even 335 would - with considerably less worry on long term maintenance. And that Torque tho..... Better mpg and bulletproof motor. You can beat the hell out of them and they'll keep on running. The best part - because of the Diesel scandal, newer low mileage Jetta TDi's are dirt cheap right now. Mods are way less expensive in them too....great community (TDi Forum) unlike VW Vortex and crap.... |

The GLI is a little torque monster. Makes around 310 in it's current form. I know you said your Jetta is making 350, which is insane. How many clutches have you went through? Haha I'm on my second one. Maybe I'll consider a TDI. It would be a smart financial move. Turbo sounds! |

All this diesel talk makes me think of the souped up F350s in TX. Throwing coal on everyone.

Yeah - that is totally how car washes are generally done... I love the part where she literally hoses down her chest. That was totally an accident.
On a related note, I have this in my shower at home: Water can come out the long way, like a shower, or it can come out the end, like a garden hose. Every time my wife uses it in the "garden hose mode" I laugh like a 15 year old. It basically looks just like that car wish video segment. (Minus Asian woman (and car)). Someone either did not think that through, or REALLY thought it through. Best feature ever.

With that shower garden hose head, can one partially block the nozzle off to increase pressure? |

Anyone on the west coast familiar with LTMW's work?
Just came across this, and I am overly frustrated for the poor shop owner who bought this car. And he is relatively local to me. http://rennlist.com/articles/glitter...ying-show-car/ Fucking scumbags. Same ones putting out those goddamned Liberty Walk kits.

Hansgrohe Axor Starck for that piece. Got that and the Raindance Head. LOVE it. We also got a diverter and a separate thermostatic valve, instead of a pressure balance valve.
Raindance E420 Shower head (needs two line feeds - one for "normal" one for "waterfall". Valve: Diverter:
