I DO NOT need to sell, so please don’t waste my time with lowball offers. I’m looking to sell because of a recent career change that has opened me up to some near-term risk and having this car isn’t the smartest decision. With that being said, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this thing. What a machine; from the sound, performance and luxury.

The drivers side roof rail has some scuffs and I believe they could be buffed out. About 24 hours after I picked it up at the dealer, I noticed some type of scuff marks along the drivers side door/roof area. My gut says that something happened at the dealer and I just didn’t see it when I picked it up. With that being said, a dime sized dent above the drivers door was removed with paintless dent removal and prior to the installation of the ppf and the surrounding scuffs were buffed out. The car looks perfect and you cannot tell anything happened, outside of the scuffs on the roof rail which can only be seen if your looking down on them.

You can get a brand new one for $495 more by ordering and waiting a month or two. And yes you can get M50i's at MSRP

My experience in Texas is that it's longer than 1 or 2 months, as there can also be a wait time to find an allocation. Dealers have also started to add a dealer markup to the MSRP. When I purchased this back in November, my dealer flat out told me that the only reason they weren't adding a markup was because I put a deposit down on this car 2 months prior, when it started production. Sounds like things just cost more in Texas. You can get a build to lot M50i order here in the northeast in 4-6 weeks and for msrp : $5500 for a full PPF sounds pretty steep as well.

And not to nitpick but it is $88,495 on configuator

Nice car.

Moving from LA to Seattle last year, there have been/are almost no X5s on lots, much less a 50i. And they are doing markups...as with everything, it will be based on the dealer and location.

The biggest dealer here JUST got some inventory - and dealers have added. "in transit" to their sites. The second is the other big dealer - and those numbers are for all cars incoming.

I took my 2020 X5 for service and they tried to buy it off me...twice.

I suggest you post the VIN so any potential buyers can decode the VIN and see all the options. Nice looking car.
If you are buying another car you might want to entertainment trading it in. With the tax break you might be close to what you are looking to get out of the car and avoid the hassle to sell to a private party.

$5500 for full PPF on a vehicle that size is not steep.
