The MBB and Silverstone looks like a color combination. I saw a MBB F90 M5 in person and the color is stunning.

This was my understanding as well.
Separate question for those of you who have bought multiple BMWs (or just know the answer) - please don’t flame me for this being a slightly different topic as I suspect this group will have some thoughts: Does the March financing offers that are published by BMW dealerships (e.g. loyalty cash back of $1,250 on the F95) apply only to the applicable vehicles that are actually delivered to the customer in the month of March? If my car is expected for delivered in April, does that mean I need to wait for the offers that are published for the month of delivery (April) in order to determine what, if any, such benefit I will be entitled to? Related question - does the dealership have discretion to deny or decline to honor such an incentive or is it a certainty that I will get that discount regardless of any prior negotiations regarding price (which was basically no discount because I got the first allocation they had)? Thanks for your insight, Chris |

My Sales Manager told me the Gas Guzzler Tax will be added to the final invoice. I'll try to clarify this information this week.

Sorry he's wrong. X5 is considered a truck because of the flat rear load floor. No gas guzzler taxes on trucks only passenger cars

Thanks Miko! I'm now in the same boat as the rest of you...waiting for production to begin and hoping there isn't a plant shutdown.

I can't see how BMW or other car manufacturers not get desperate in the coming months to try to spark some sales. What i worry about now is my M3's trade in value. We have a verbal agreement for the amount that I am comfortable with but with the way the market has been I can't see how it wouldn't impact the trade in value. I asked my CA and he insisted it won't be impacted but frankly i don't believe him. Alan

You guys mentioned the X5 is not subject to the gas guzzler tax since it's considered and SUV. Is that the case for the X6 as well? I'm curious if the change in shape constitutes a different classification.

So yesterday per the tracker on MyBMW, my order had moved to scheduled for production, the second step, but now today it is back to order received. My guess they are getting close to shutting down production in Spartanburg.

I just checked and my status also regressed - now says “order received” instead of “scheduled for production”. Not a good sign. Unless this is just a coincidental glitch on the site, I don’t think an April (or even May) delivery is realistic at this point for any “week 14” or later F95s.
