All 2022 45e models have new badging. Week 28 build date seems like for 2021 model year, so I assume it will not have the new badges.

I totally agree. My local Greenwise ( Trader Joe’s Publix) has free chargers. Parking lot was packed but the charger spots were open. I pulled in, a guy in a Toyota something plug in pulled behind in the next spot and started complaining about me taking a hybrid spot. I just plugged my car, the look on his face was hilarious.

Yes, it’s carbon black. Build week was 1st week of August and it took less than 2 weeks from start of build to delivery in Dallas.

Your BMW looks absolutely stunning. I like the badges as I am proud to drive an eco-friendly vehicle. I know its personal though.
Congratulations!!

Thank you. I debated between Carbon Black / Arctic Gray and Ivory / Tartufo. I’m very happy with the results and after a week I’m still loving it.

I think you can't go wrong with either one of them. In fact, I really like all the BMW X5 color options. I ordered arctic gray and Ivory white.
How is the battery capacity on your X5. I heard they were going to increase for 2022.

No changes for MY22 except for no more fog lights and missing certain things like HK audio, wireless charging, etc. due to supply issues.

yup, I'm aware. onceuponatimeinfrance was just asking about the battery. the list (not all inclusive):

• no HK audio (variant specific)
• no wireless charging tray
• no wifi hotspot
• changed Dual Zone Auto Climate Control
• added Android Auto Compatibility
• no DHP (variant specific)
• no seat memory buttons (unconfirmed)
• no fog lights
• no Digital Key/digital key card (variable)

Hedz_Up do you have the 2 seat memory buttons on the driver door?

Memory functions are still mentioned in the description of the luxury seating package in the now available 2022 online configuration builder.

Also, no kick to open tailgate! Hedz_Up, can you confirm? Also, do you still have power lower tailgate? People are saying that may have gone as well!

Well on the BMWUSA website, this is listed for MY22 45e under Standard Features, Performance and Efficiency:

Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO, COMFORT, SPORT modes

It doesn’t sound right as 45e doesn’t have either ECO PRO or COMFORT and I don’t believe these modes have been added for MY22. 45e has HYBRID and ELECTRIC instead. So, it looks like a copy and paste error from 40i specs but probably a definite indicator that ADAPTIVE is no more.

Hedz_Up, we are all anxiously waiting for you to confirm or even better post a photo of the drive modes you have on your 2022 45e!

I was playing with the configurator to match the 2022 X5 45e that I have in production now - has anyone else noticed how large the X5 badging on the tailgate is now? Was it this big last year?
