Possible to Upgrade to Full LEDs from Standard LEDs on 2024 X5?

Is it possible to upgrade the headlight units on the 2024 X5 from the standard LEDs to the Full Version (with cornering lights, etc.)? Wasn't sure if there was other hardware involved, more complex that just a swap.

Should just be the headlight units and likely some coding.

BMW parts tend to be fairly expensive, so while maybe possible, you may not want to pay the parts price. I don't know if it then would require programming for the computer to recognize them to gain the added functionality. The dealer likely wouldn't do that, so if you can't do it yourself, that may add to the costs while you find someone that can reprogram the vehicle.

Appreciate the info, most likely won’t do it but nice to know it could be an option.

keep in mind coding isnt possible on the LCI, so you might not have a path forward even with a hardware swap.

Last I saw only a few ECUs are codable, the rest are set up for secure coding so they can't decoded.

Edit: Here is a thread with more info. https://bmwi.bimmerpost.com/forums/s....php?t=1965217
