RG Sport - Wheel Spacers on G05 X5

I just called my "trusted" mechanic, and he advised against putting spacers bigger than 10mm, as "they will damage the wheel bearings". Based on all the posts here, I'm inclined to ignore this. But, just out of curiosity, has anyone experienced any issues with that. Any thoughts?

If BMW SUV wheel bearing can't handle wheel spacer, then BMW should quit making SUV with 22" or 23" wheels at 5000+ lbs.

Installed 15F 20R and it came out perfect with the H&R springs.

Hi RG, I just got a 2023 40i with M package, has the OEM 21" 741M wheels. I also got 20" square setup winter wheels. Thinking about getting spacers 15/20? Or could you suggest a better option. I like to have it a bit of aggressive look. The car is on stock height and with no air suspension. Could you please PM me pricing for full kits to Vancouver Canada?

Hi RG, can you let me know how much for 12mm/15mm H&R spacers with the corresponding black lug nuts, shipped to Vancouver, BC (V5P 2G8). For a MY22 M50i, normally on the 747M wheels.

I'm running my 748M winter wheels right now and they look so sunk in. I wish I got spacers last winter for them but hey, it's never too late!

Hi Ben, would you send me pricing for both 12/15 and 15/20 setups with extended lug bolts. I have a 2024 X5 xdrive 40i with the 20" M-sport wheels. Zipcode is 60050. I am looking at purchasing 22"s in the near future and assume the spacers will work with either rim, correct? X5 is not lowered, but may do H&R springs someday. Thanks.

Yes, both will work on the 20" and 22", but best on the 22".
15/20 is best when lowered with the 22".

With 20", I recommend 12/20.

Installed MSS Urban Springs and 15/20 spacers. Turned out great! Wheels gap reduced and it firmed up the ride just a bit (felt it was a little too floaty even with the 22” wheels).

Looks perfect! Specs on the tire set up? Can’t wait to put on the 15/20 RG Spacers tomorrow. I’m not lowered (well not yet). Seeing how these would look stock.

I put on H&R from RGSport. Pretty happy with them. Now time to lower mine too. Still not too sure which springs to get.
