I just checked My BMW Garage again, and it DOES show in STD features
Roof rails in High-gloss...the pic at top of page is not the clearest or largest image but I'm quite sure it has changed also. It appears to have black rails!

Woo hoo, I spoke too soon. I just rechecked my garage, and mine now shows the roof rails and updated standard features. Now let's wait and see how it looks when I take delivery.

Mine showing now too... A little hard to see but I can pick it up mostly because the antenna is less visible than my previous photo I sent to CA. Roof rails in High-gloss - in the drop down as well.

No luck yet for me and my CA just told me that he doesn't even see it in std or options if he were to order X5 M50i today!!? He has anyways emailed BMW NA - I am not sure if he will get any response in a timely manner.

Mine is still in "production begins" status - scheduled for production completion on 8/19.

This is the response I got from my guy at the dealership. We have one on order.
“They will come with roof rails. BMW is aware that a few cars were shipped without them. It is a standard option and they will be on the car. BMW has been installing them at the dealer for the ones that somehow got missed”.

You DO NOT want them to do that with your car. They have to drop the headliner which requires removing all the pillar trims and lots of other stuff. Rattle trap city for sure afterwards.

You can ask your CA to check the modification history of your order slot to make sure the rails were added by BMW.
