I installed both the JB4 and the BMS Intake.
The increased power is very noticeable... kind of unexpected... The sound of the turbos spooling is much louder Routing the OBD cable was kind of a PITA It’s impossible to find any good information on the G05 application. The installation instructions are a little difficult to follow as the photos correspond to an entire different vehicle. Still no exhaust flap control through the JB4 app, which is unfortunate.. |

My experience with the Dinantronics Sport on the 40i. Would expect a similar experience with the JB4.

Anyone here taking advantage of the EWG connectors yet? They come N63R systems sold within the last few months and really boost performance potential!

jb4 installed on 40i
noticeable difference- low end power is much better, but nothing crazy. the acceleration on this truck is quite numb tbh. coming from an f90 so my foot is still adapting to the new normal. i've gone up to e30 on map 3, pulling strong. planning on testing some absolute maps this week with e30/e40.

I've just had the JB4 and a AA catted 400 cell downpipe fitted yesterday.
Running map 2 on 98, coming onto boost is a lot more noticeable and it pulls to redline harder. It's not a kick in the back so to speak but I feel like it has livened up the engine. The auto shop that installed it recommended I dont use map 3 unless I add in octane booster. You can see cables on the passenger side (Left) as the unit is tucked under the grill below the windscreen. |

looks like an air intake resonator to keep things quiet

JB4 to BM3
Hi everyone, This is my first post... New to here but not new to modding cars. I have had the JB4 for 3 months. I would say it is noticeable but not life changing. So...
As I type this I'm getting the Pure800 installed, DEM Unlocked, and JB4 to BM3 with a custom dyno tune. So I will have a JB4 for sale hopefully next week. |
