Silver trim on the rear bumper clashes

What have people done with this metallic silver piece that takes up the majority of the rear bumper? I find it rather ugly and does what is otherwise a beautiful car, a huge disservice. My car is black and the silver really clashes, I feel.

I've seen these three things owners have done via their posts here.
1. Painted it
2. Wrapped it
3. Replaced it (I think.... and I'm sure others will confirm... that you can buy an aftermarket replacement in black)

That's one of the reasons I ordered the M-Sport trim.

Some people like that bright trim in the back, but I'm with you.

Are you talking about the rear diffuser in x-line or exhaust tips? I thought the diffuser in M sport is body color and shadow line option is only on M package.

Some replaced their exhaust tips with black oem or exhaust tips from eBay/Amazon.

There are gloss black rear diffuser sellers in eBay for M sport but I have not seen one for x-line.

Pretty sure elbandito is talking about the rear diffuser on the xLine trim. I have the same complaint on mine.

elbandito check out this thread and scroll down a bit to the photo of the rear that was blacked out.

I have the M-Sport, my diffuser is dark gray and my paint color is carbon black so they don’t always match.
