race is done...Hamilton won....move on....no point of looking back and say "so close"...we should've won.....

If schumi going to race in F1 again...will he go for Full wet in bone dry track???

I disagree in so far as Hamilton should have not been Champion. It doesnīt matter how you put it, Lewis is the Champ. I agree with sad if Massa does not race again.

formula1.com Technical - Ferrari F60 Felipe Massa accident

From formula1.com - http://www.formula1.com/news/technic...9/815/681.html

Quote:
Felipe Massa's huge qualifying crash in Hungary was triggered when the spring from the third damper on Rubens Barrichello's Brawn came loose. It hit the F60 firstly just in front of the cockpit (right arrow - near the triangular engine cut-off sticker), before then striking the cockpit's side protection (left arrow - quite damaged, this area is made of a special foam to absorb impacts) and finally the left side of Massa's helmet.

There was a double fataility in F1 many years ago that happened sort of like Massa's crash.

A corner worker was running across the track to get to a car that had a small fire going. He was carrying a metal fire extinguisher. As he crossed the track two cars came around the corner at full speed. The first car missed him but the second car hit him straight on. The corner worker was instantly killed, his body was basically instantly turned into a pile of meat. They couldn't even recognize him from what was left. The fire extinguisher he carried struck the driver in his helmet, killing him as well.

"Felipe WILL RACE AGAIN"

http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,189...460105,00.html

Quote:
Felipe Massa's personal doctor insists the Brazilian will return to Formula One following his horrific accident.

There are still concerns over the Ferrari driver's F1 future after suffering a fractured skull and an injury to his left eye during an accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Doctors, though, have already confirmed that Massa is responding well to treatment and he could be discharged in the next fortnight.

Dino Altmann, Felipe Massa's personal doctor, says the Brazilian's condition has improved a lot in the last few days.

"I have no doubt Felipe will race again," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I'm sure of that.

"The situation is still delicate, but I believe his life is not in danger anymore. From the beginning I felt that the trauma wasn't as extended as it was believed, but the improvements of the last hours have gone beyond our wildest expectations.

"Stimulated by the physiotherapist, he showed he knows left from right and he has full awareness of distance and depth. And his memory loss regards a short time.

"His eye has been opened, with care because it is still swollen, and he has said he can see. His vision has not weakened.

"He gave appropriate answers in three languages: Portuguese, Italian, and English. That means that the brain's cognitive area is fine."

Absolutely!!!

I can't wait to see him in a Red car either spun out, yelling "I need a white visor!", blown an engine, or WIN A RACE!!!

Massa already thinking of racing again

Felipe Massa is already thinking about racing again, and would be happy to get back into his Ferrari in the next race in Valencia, according to his personal doctor. “Felipe continues to improve. He is eating, he was walking around the room, he took a shower in the morning, like a normal person. So that's good news," Altman, Chief Medical Officer of the Brazilian Grand Prix, said.
Massa would be going home from the hospital, but whether he would be taken to Monaco or Brazil was not yet decided.

FIA still hasn't granted the test day for Michael in the Ferrari...wonder what they'll do? Toro Rosso didn't get a free day with their young lad this past weekend...but it is Michael... Good to hear about Felipe...

Michael Schumacher tested Ferrari's F2007 at Mugello on Friday.

Schumacher is currently unable to test the current racer due to testing restrictions. His best lap on the Mugello circuit beat Felipe Massa's winter 2009 time by over two tenths of a second although, with the car greatly different in terms of aerodynamics, comparisons are tough to read into.
