Picked up my stock 30d arctic on Friday.

Was very lucky as managed to get what seems to be a new build from a stock car.

Mine has the m sport plus pack, which now gives you black grills and exhaust trims. Before around 3 weeks ago you didn't get this.

For some reason I've also got a sensatec dash, which I love (apart from a small issue on another thread).

Anyway, very happy in overall.

Looks stunning with the revised M Sport pack. Is that Sytner Harold Wood?

Will try to organise something in due course.

I've had the E70 X5 before. Now coming from L405 RR / L494 RRS, which were closer to the X5 dynamically than the L322 RR / L320 RRS ever could be.

The G05 X5 in present time is way ahead both in terms of technology and value proposition than other competitors.

I've already asked about the 2.9% APR and knew the answer before I asked, that is for stock cars in the current Sept promotion across dealers. 4.9% it would be for a factory order 45e.

Anyone ordered one of these yet and any advice on any particular gotchas? Did you order a wall-box at the same then?
I was pretty keen for a 45e, but it wasn't available to order at the time. Is there a particular reason you would consider one over a 40i ?

I would personally probably make do without the wallbox considering how small the battery is and wide availability of public chargers.

Discount wise I would still expect circa 10%.

I have previously used Gleammachine and Autofinesse, I would recommend both. Offset detailing and Elitecarcare are really good too.

Do anyone get the UK 5 years services pack? Been advised by the dealer that no services pack available anymore?

That’s correct. Till the end of June, the £350 service pack was still available to order and now discontinued which only included 2 services over 3 years. I believe the 5 year service pack is old news.

Thanks to ALL for your comments re: MY19/MY20.
Not going to get caught up in it.

The fact is the car he’s found me is perfect for me in terms of the sport plus pack, tech pack and sky lounge roof.

Any others were higher specc’d and therefore more expensive.
And I negotiated black grills to be fitted for free which is all I was interested in!!

I cannot wait to take ownership!!

Just driven home from Newquay to Bristol in my mates brand new Transit Custom van!! (Because I sold our family LR Discovery Sport)
Wish I could have done it in the X5....... however the sand..... aaaggghhhhhh!!!!
I need to figure out sand repellent tips for future Cornwall visits !!!!!!

Tips and hints welcome!!!

Yep, my local dealer, 5 mins up the road.
Dean was great and even sourced a different car to the original stock one I had ordered after I found out about the new m sport plus additions on the newer build.

Fake leather, still stiched etc, but not made from animal products. Looks pretty good I'm told.. haven't seen it in person, but I suspect at some point a lot of the 'leather' we see will move that way...

Speaking of leather, the "Vernasca" leather is growing on me. I thought it was perhaps a little bit stiff to start with, but it's already softening nicely and I'm starting to like it a lot!

I'll probably see you around a bit in that case, not that many of these around in Havering (I'm based in Gidea Park) yet and I'm picking mine up in Circa 11 hours and 3 minutes from from now also from Sytner in H Wood!

Actually you CAN lower it, and raise it, while driving around -- not to it's lowest or very highest setting, but you can. In fact, when you switch to sport, it lowers it 2cm by itself.

It is great, but the F25 "moon roof" was bigger. You can only see the illumination of the sky lounge at night, and yeah it's cool and it's definitely better than no opening roof.

But, &$&"*($$&* expensive for a sunroof! The US as a 'regular' sunroof that I very likely would have taken instead..

Really, wow pretty surprised at that. How about when switching to Sport or above a certain speed, was it 81mph or something, assume the car automatically lowers then whilst moving?

edit aha seen Buzes reply above also. As I thought, this is how the RRS works with its air suspension.
